The Fairfield First Fridays Art Walk has enriched our town for nine years. Recognized as the Tourism Event of the Year for Iowa, the Art Walk has become well-known throughout the state. Each month the Art Walk showcases Fairfield and 100’s of creative artists in our community. In doing so, the Art Walk:
- Unites the community
- Brings visitors from all over the region
- Inspires our youth to stay in Fairfield
- Encourages others to relocate
- Contributes significantly to local economy
Thanks to tireless work of volunteers and paid staff, each month we re-connect with friends, see creative art, enjoy live entertainment, savor great food, and get quality family time. The Art Walk is funded by people volunteering their time, by local businesses, and by city and state grants. Unfortunately, state money is going away. That means we need to ask ourselves how do we keep the Art Walk going? How do we improve and expand it?
With your generous help we can transform the loss of state funds into an opportunity to make the Fairfield Art Walk stronger and more self-sufficient.
