The 4^th Annual Fairfield All Things Italian Street Festival will feature Italian music, dance, food and activities and will be highlighted by the performance of renowned clown, juggler and Italian performance artist Douglas Grew. Last year, over 4,000 people from throughout Iowa to see the Fairfield Town Square transformed into an Italian ‘piazza’ for the evening.

This year, the will feature:

• Live Italian musical and traditional dance performances

• Authentic Italian food includes homemade lasagna dinner, peppers and sausage sandwiches and over 1,000 cannoli made fresh.

• Free family games: Bocce (Italian lawn bowling); Morra (hand game) - two very popular Italian games that are easy to learn and fun for kids and adults to play.

• Canvas and face painting for children

• Madonnari - Traditional Sidewalk Chalk Art

• Photography contest for 12–18 year olds and adults with over $500 in prizes!

• Cultural exhibits of Ellis Island photos, influential Italian Americans, Italian artifacts and film.

• Italian automobiles and motorcycles

• Iowa tenor Quiliano Anderson sings Italian arias and folk songs

• Roving Street Musicians

• See art being created live in an outdoor setting by several 'en plein aire' artists and demonstrating artists sponsored by Galleria Imago Dei.

• Enjoy Fairfield’s award-winning Art Walk with over 18 galleries and venues.

Fabulous Food

• Tutti mangia! There’ll be plenty of great food! SOFIA members will be making over 1,000 servings of homemade lasagna!

• Festival favorite TEAM CANNOLI will delight fair goers with the scrumptious Italian dessert - cannoli

• Hy-Vee will provide Italian-American specialty sausage and peppers sandwiches.

• Isabella's Italian Ice will provide delicious Italian Ice

• New! Italian Hot Dog stand including Turkey and Tofu Dogs
